Welcome to the Glühwürmchenhütte (Chalet Firefly)
Luxury chalet at an altitude of 1100m with a spectacular mountain panorama over the entire Feistritz Valley. Access is possible all year round.
Chalet Firefly
Space for 8 adults and 2 children under five
The Chalet Firefly (Glühwürmchenhütte) is located next to the Hauereck ski lift in Upper Styria. There is year-round access by car, but you should always take snow chains in the mountains. In winter, you can ski directly to the chalet from the slope, and there is a sled run next to the chalet.
In summer, cows graze around the chalet – luckily they don’t wear bells to preserve the calm! – and in winter, you can relax in the hot pot or enjoy nature next to a campfire. Our water comes from our very own quality-controlled alpine source. A wireless network is available.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, but still want your creature comforts and little luxuries, look no further.

Glühwürmchenhütte – Reservation request
We are pleased to have aroused your interest in the GLÜHWÜRMCHENHÜTTE. Please let us know when you would like to come and how many people would like to come. We will contact you immediately with an offer.
The Glühwürmchenhütte is designed for 8 adults and two small children and can also be booked together with the Romance chalet. We prefer a weekly rental (arrival day is Saturday and the minimum stay is one week), but an individual arrival & departure day (bookable for Thursday or Friday to Sunday) is of course also possible.
Terms of payment:
30% down payment at the time of booking, remaining amount to be paid 6 weeks before arrival at the latest
Arrival between 4 pm – 6 pm / Departure between 9 am – 10 am
