Sunset at the Weekend

Last weekend, the evening at our cabins showed itself from its most beautiful side once again. Barely a cloud in the sky, crisp air and a wide view across the forested hills of Styria – the perfect setting for a sunset you could only dream of.

As the sun slowly sank below the horizon, the sky turned into soft gradients of colour: from a delicate orange through warm pink to a calm, almost violet blue. The silhouettes of the tall spruces stood out dark against the evening light, while the quiet of the night gradually settled over the valleys. Only a few thin wisps of cloud drifted along the edge of the sky, as if to make the picture just a little more perfect.

It is exactly these moments that make a stay at the Firefly Cabin and the Romantic Cabin so special. No traffic, no noise – just the view into the distance, the rustling of the trees and the feeling of having truly arrived. Whether with a glass of wine on the terrace, wrapped up in a blanket or enjoying a quiet conversation for two: a sunset at around 1,100 metres above sea level lets everyday life fade into the background all by itself.
