The Glühwürmchenhütte in Spring: Nature at Every Turn
From April onwards, the Glühwürmchenhütte is completely transformed. The meadows around the chalet begin to bloom, the small pond awakens from its winter stillness, and the on-site garden shows its first herbs and early fruits. On the terrace, you can watch the cows grazing over your morning coffee – and they often wander surprisingly close.
For those who like to stay active, countless hiking trails start right at the doorstep, including the well-known Mondweg Ratten, which winds through the gentle hills of the Joglland region. The paths are pleasantly quiet in spring, the air is crisp and clear, and you’re far more likely to encounter a deer than another hiker.
The Romantikhütte in Spring: Hot Pot, Stillness & Sunsets
For couples who genuinely want to escape everyday life, the Romantikhütte in spring is a true hidden gem.
